I've been cooking up a new comic book series, The Allied Front. I'm not ready to give out any more details at this time, but I wanted to share an image from it. I am pretty proud of it. This page represents my first foray into coloring with my newly acquired Wacom Cintiq tablet. Had a blast doing it. Stay tooned for more to come....
I got myself a Wacom Cintiq 13HD tablet! I am so excited to be free of coloring with a mouse! I was using a MOUSE to color and edit, LIKE A CAVEMAN!!!
I used the tablet to do the shading tones on my finished Super Troopers piece! Which is available as a shirt or poster HERE!!!
So psyched for the new Super Troopers movie getting made! I LOVE Broken Lizard, them boys is funny! If you have never seen The Slammin' Salmon, get it now! Here is a Super Troopers/Star Wars homage I am working on.
One of my vices is smoking cigars! I don't smoke them everyday, but when I do enjoy one, I want it to be worth it! Last night, I had the pleasure of smoking a Romeo Y Julieta House of Capulet. It was one of the best cigars I have had in a long time. Smooth smoking, nice creamy flavor in the first half, with a more peppery flavor on the back end. I am usually weary of Connecticut wrappers, I find them on the bland side; but this cigar surprised me with it's medium bodied flavor. I paired this with a Belgium Trippel from New Belgium Brewing, it was a match made in heaven. The beer's slightly sour flavor brought out the cigar's woody and earthy flavors. I have read that this cigar is being made exclusively for Famous Smoke, so you will have to visit their site to find one. For such a well crafted and delicious cigar, I was shocked how affordable they are! Do yourself a favor and get some and enjoy it on a nice Spring evening! Get these great cigars over at Famous Smoke Shop! Here are some stats for those of you keeping score at home!
